I am Sports Girl

My Name is Areesha Mughal and I born in a poor family of Thatta. My father was happy upon my birth.

My father wished that I highlighted his name being a good individual of society, but after my birth circumstances were getting worst day by day, the financial status of my father got worst, but in spite all of that, my father took a decision, perhaps it was very difficult, I got admitted in private schools, I started my education in private school and I was keen interested in my studies. When I passed class three, I started to participate in sports activity and co-curricular activities after some time. My father's financial status again gone worst and he transferred me in a government school.

At primary school, where I was settled; I cannot adjust well as no any activity in sports. I passed my primary level. Then I shifted to another private school but again due to some crises, after passing Class VIth. I admitted in GGHS W-I I was amazed and feels fantastic in this school. On the whole academically and co-curricular activities Government Girls High School Ward-I Thatta is the blessing from ALLAH, for me. Lots of opportunities support from the teachers and Head Mistress gave me the room of improvement and polishes my skills.

I was selected as a player of school football team as per my desire. I performed my best and won many trophies and medals in different events and now I am the captain of my school football team. Other than sports I got a lot of opportunities to build my capacity building in in my school i.e. to participate in quiz competitions, art competitions, singing, competitions, life skill sessions and exposure visits time to time arranged by the school management.

Now I am more satisfied and motivated, I wish to be an active citizen of Pakistan and want to work as civil servant in any reputable institute of my country. I am student of Class X, I am always very thankful to all my respected teachers, fellows and school management, they supported me to build my level of confidence now, I believe on myself and confident. Now I can say that “I can do it everything".

It is my message to all my fellows and parents ‘’educated girls in Government Schools and trust them and permit them to participate in co-curricular activities especially in sports to make them strong mentally and physically ‘’.
